Resident Evil 5 has had their delays and may be a few months late but Capcom has now announced a Friday March 13, 2009 release. Capcom released a few screenshots to give people a taste of what to expect in the new zombie game.

Xbox is fifth most discussed brand online

Microsoft's Xbox has placed fifth in a list of the most discussed brands on social networking websites during 2008.

Digital marketing agency Vitrue compiled the report after monitoring the frequency of blue-chip brand mentions across a variety of social networking sites.

Xbox finished fifth in the list, behind iPhone, CNN, Apple and Disney, while rival Sony came in ninth.

Halo Wars Previews and Impressions.

The Halo Wars demo hits Xbox Live this Wednesday, and to wet your appetite several outlets have posted their impressions of the game.

MTV Multiplayer went hands on with the full version of the game, though they only played two missions, which just so happened to be the demo missions. Their thoughts? It felt more like a Diablo RTS than a true RTS. The writer felt the game was a bit more action focused and a little less focused on things like resources and base building. I'm not seeing this as a negative.

Ars Technica goes a bit more in depth with the overall game and gives the view from 5000 mile style preview. It's a good way to get your feet wet with Halo Wars.

Xbox 360 outsells Wii in Japan

Microsoft's Xbox 360 has outsold Nintendo's Wii in Japan, according to figures from Enterbrain.

Following a new price point, the introduction of a bigger hard-drive and the release of Square Enix's Infinite Undiscovery, the console sold 28,681 units for the week ended September 14, according to a report by Andriasang.com.
